The Ketchums are some of the greatest people around and they will inspire us with song and message to get involved in missions around the world.
Thanks to all our great volunteers!!! They cleaned, painted, trimmed, swept, lifted, carried and spruced!!! We are getting ready for company----making a statement in faith that God is calling people to Himself--and we will be ready when they come!!
Having a nice spring shower reminded me of this old song:
It's beginning to rain hear the voice of our Father,
Saying "Who-so-ever will, come drink of my water;
I promise to pour my Spirit out on your sons and your daughters."
If you're thirsty and dry, look up to the sky, it's beginning to rain.
There are seasons in the Spirit as well as nature. So, let's call out
to our Father for some fresh life, inspiration, and victory in our lives!
We had a great Easter Sunday at First Naz. Family and friends made it particularly special. The fact of Jesus life and resurrection needs to be clear everyday---as it will direct the flow of our lives toward Him and peace and victory. Let's take the fresh reminder of His victory and the promise of spring coming soon---and let it energize us to come together and be His people in a great and unified way!
Thanks to Rick Owens who hosted a comet watch at his observatory south of Warrensburg Monday night. He took this photo about 8:30 pm. We could just barely see the comet Pannstars with the naked eye--much better in binoculars or telescope. The power of God's word---spoken to create the worlds---now speaks forgiveness and love thru Jesus!
The amazing love that showed itself when Jesus
did the ultimate---allow Himself to be made sin
for us----will be remembered with a service on
Good Friday at First Naz at 7 pm on the Friday
before Easter. Come feel the love poured out for us.
Sixteen of our Naz guys went to supper at Charlie's Buffet last Saturday. Great fellowship and amazing food---3 kinds of cheescakes and 4 kinds of cobbler! And that is just desserts that I had!!!!
Next time, come with us!
Several on our ministry teams will be attending the T.E.A.M. seminar on Sat the 23rd.
Pray that we can grow and become even better partners with God in His work!
